An only child from a family of East Texas educators, a classroom situation for this veteran Dallas ISD teacher, inspired this book. As a Sunday School teacher at Union Baptist, she inspired her kindergarteners to love the Lord the way she had been taught. She has held offices for Altrusa International (SW Dallas County), the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa (Alpha Rho Chapter), & DR NABSE. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Order of Eastern Star, Outstanding Young Women of America, and a PTA Life member. A 1995 State Representative - Good Will Ambassador to Oklahoma bombing victims. Recently elected campus "Teacher of the Year," she now pursues her doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction while serving as CEO of No Horsing Around Autoplex and Heating A/C Company.
