There is no doubt that the flight of birds inspired most of the gadgets and devices, along history, built the man to try to take to the skies. Despite the differences in weights and sizes is striking that many of the solutions adopted in the aircraft have their parallels in birds, and backward, which can be identified in these mechanisms that improve flight safety in aircraft perceived as elements of advanced technology, the result of sophisticated design and development programs.

This paper tries to explain, ignoring the mathematical developments, basic physical ideas that govern the behavior aerodynamic profiles and wings of both, and provide explanatory arguments about the aerodynamics of flying bodies, so as to understand why this made so fascinating that is flying.
